硝酸中でのネプツニウムによるステンレス鋼の腐食加速に対するバナジウムの模擬性を、沸騰硝酸中におけるバナジウムの再酸化挙動調査とステンレス鋼の腐食試験により検討した。その結果、硝酸濃度に応じてVの量を調整することで、Npによる腐食加速効果が模擬できることが示された。

The effects on the corrosion acceleration of stainless steel by neptunium and vanadium were examined by re-oxidative behavior investigation and the corrosion test in boiling nitric acid solutions. As a result, it was suggested that the corrosion acceleration effect by Np was able to be simulated by vanadium by adjusting the amount of V and concentration of nitric acid.
