岐阜県東濃地域,北海道幌延地域で進めている地質環境調査技術開発において蓄積された地球化学にかかわる知見を分析し、文献調査から概要調査段階の地球化学調査にかかわる留意点やノウハウなどを整理したうえで、以下の項目についてエキスパートシステムを構築した。(1)文献調査段階の既存情報に基づく予察的地球化学モデルの構築,(2)地球化学調査計画立案,(3)採水調査支援,(4)地球化学解析・モデル化,(5)地球化学特性の長期変遷解析。各エキスパートシステムでは、使用者(地層処分にかかわる技術者,大学などの研究者を想定)が、調査上の制約条件等を入力し、入力情報に応じて調査,解析手法の選択やその留意点などを閲覧できるとともに、調査によって得られたデータを用いた一連の地球化学解析を行うことが可能である。

Expert system for hydrochemical investigations were developed based on knowledge from scientific studies at Mizunami and Horonobe URL. The knowledge on hydrochemical investigation are classified into (1) how to construct the conceptual model during literature survey, (2) planning method on hydrochemical investigation, (3) know-how on hydrochemical investigation, (4) data analysis and modelling, (5) estimation of long-term hydrochemical change.
