Kurome, Kazuya*; Murakami, Hisatomo*; Tsujita, Yoshihiro*; Futagami, Satoshi  ; Hayafune, Hiroki

The Japan Atomic Energy Agency(JAEA), Mitsubishi FBR Systems, Inc (MFBR) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) have been cooperated to study the Japan Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor (JSFR) in the Fast Reactor Cycle Technology Development (FaCT) project. In order to improve the economic of commercialized FBR plant, many innovative design concepts are adopted and started to investigate. For example, two-loop piping system and integrated IHX/pump are adopted to reduce the number of components and volume of the building. And double-walled tube SG is adopted to improve the reliability. In the FaCT project, these concepts have been studied, and many tests and evaluation have been carried out. In this report, our activities for the main components of JSFR such as two-loop piping system, integrated IHX/Pump, and steam generator are summarized.
