The objective of JT-60SA is to support researches on ITER and develop physics and engineering basis towards DEMO reactor. Towards realization of a steady-state tokamak DEMO reactor, establishing a plasma operational scenario of high normalized beta and high bootstrap current fraction is indispensable. Assessment of performance and characteristics of plasmas foreseen in JT-60SA, using various codes for MHD stability, current drive, transport and divertor, is presented.
