The charge-frustrated system Lu Fe$$_{2}$$O$$_{4}$$ is characterized by a regular arrangement of Fe$$^{2+}$$ and Fe$$^{3+}$$ ions on the frustrated triangle lattice and it had reported the charge order of Fe$$^{2+}$$ and Fe$$^{3+}$$ causes its ferroelectricity. In order to investigate the Fe 3$$d$$ state in the frustrated system, Fe La,b emission spectra and Fe L2,3 absorption spectra of LuFe$$_{2}$$+Fe$$_{3}$$+O$$_{4}$$, LuGaFe$$_{2}$$+O$$_{4}$$ and LuFe$$_{3}$$+CoO$$_{4}$$ at I511-3 at MAXLAB and 7.0.1 at ALS. It was found that the profile of Fe La,b emission spectra of LuFe$$^{2+}$$Fe$$^{3+}$$O$$_{4}$$ is not simple superposition of Fe$$^{2+}$$ and Fe$$^{3+}$$ electronic states.
