Advanced ORIENT cycle study (Phase I), 6; Study on thermal stability of tertiary pyridine resin

Okada, Ken*; Sato, Yoshihiko*; Akiyoshi, Miyako*; Matsunaga, Takehiro*; Suzuki, Tatsuya*; Koyama, Shinichi  ; Ozawa, Masaki

Thermal stability of mixtures of silica-supported tertiary pyridine resin/MeOH/HNO$$_{3}$$ systems was evaluated in order to confirm the fire and exposure property by ARC (Accelerating Rate Calorimeter). As the results, more than 0.02 K heat was detected from around 109$$^{circ}$$C in the case of HNO$$_{3}$$ type resin. Therefore it is expected that the vigorous exothermic reaction is occurred.
