ナトリウム冷却大型炉に適合可能なセレクタバルブ方式破損燃料位置検出器開発の一環として、検出可能な破損規模,検出時間などについて評価を行い、それらを踏まえて実機における運用方針を検討した。

A conceptual design study and related R&D for a large-scale sodium-cooled fast reactor (JSFR) are carried out in the framework of fast reactor cycle technology development project. JSFR adopts a Selector-Valve mechanism for the failed fuel detection and location (SV-FFDL) system. In this report, the detection capability for fuel failure using SV-FFDL was evaluated and the operating pattern fit in the reactor operation was suggested.
