バックエンド推進部門における原子力施設の廃止措置及び放射性廃棄物処理処分に係る技術開発の進捗; 平成21年度

使命を終了した原子力施設の廃止措置及び放射性廃棄物の処理処分は原子力開発を進めるうえで重要な課題であり、安全を十分に確保したうえでこれらの対策を合理的に進める必要がある。そのためには、技術の開発・改良,適切な技術の選択・適用が重要であり、原子力機構においては、バックエンド推進部門及び研究拠点が一体となって、必要な技術開発を進めている。バックエンド推進部門の技術開発ユニットでは、おもに機構全体に共通する課題を取り上げ、研究開発を進めてきた。技術開発の課題はおもにバックエンド対策の計画的遂行及び費用低減の観点から選択し、廃止措置計画の検討・評価のための支援システム、超臨界二酸化炭素による除染技術、硝酸塩分解技術、セメント固化処理技術、放射能の簡易迅速測定技術、廃棄物処分の安全性評価などが含まれる。本報告書は技術開発ユニットが進める技術開発の概要、平成21年度までの進捗等についてまとめたものである。

It is an important issue to take measures against the matters on decommissioning of retired nuclear facilities and management of low-level radioactive wastes, and the measures must be taken with rational way by ensuring the safety. As the development, improvement, and proper deployment of technologies will be key factors, a technology development program is under way in Nuclear Cycle Backend Directorate taking account of these matters. The technology development items are selected from the viewpoints of systematic implementation of measures; these include the development of computer systems for planning and evaluation of decommissioning programs, supercritical CO fluid leaching method for decontamination, nitrate-ion degradation method, simple and rapid determination method for radioactivity, safety assessment for waste disposal and so on. This report describes outline and progress of the technology development program conducted in FY2009 by the research and development unit.
