J-PARCに至る道筋と現状

現在、J-PARCの中性子源JSNS(Japan Spallation Neutron Source)を保有しているが、そこに至る道筋は決して平坦ではなく、長く、急峻で苦しいものであった。本論文では、日本におけるパルス中性子源開発の歴史と、中性子源実現における国際協力の重要性を解説する。

Although we now have the J-PARC neutron source, JSNS (Japan Spallation Neutron Source), the road to it was never flat but very long, steep and rough to come along. This paper gives an account of the history of developments of pulsed neutron sources in Japan and the importance of international collaboration for the current achievements.
