Be measurement in the JAEA-AMS-TONOMatsubara, Akihiro; Nishizawa, Akimitsu*; Suzuki, Mototaka*; Kokubu, Yoko

In Tono Geoscience Center, Be measurement has been developed for geochronological study such as estimation of sedimentation rate and exposure age of rocks by using 15SDH-2 Pelletron accelerator (NEC, US). Fundamental technology for Be measurement has been developed through buildup of test measurements to optimize the parameter of the gas discharge box. We will present typical results obtained by test measurements with both standard samples having different values of Be/
Be ratio and unknown samples.
