Application of imaging XAFS technique to nuclear energy research

Imaging XAFS technique using X-ray CCD camera was developed by analyzing gray-scale of pictures. In this technique, the CCD camera is used in place of ion chamber. Position sensitivity could be obtained by the imaging XAFS analysis. In the next step, we tried to use it in the study of uranium and minor actinide compounds. It means the imaging XAFS technique can be used to study of nuclear energy research field.
