Effects of microorganisms on solubility of trivalent actinides; Solubility of Ln(III) in phosphate mineral precipitation

Effect of microorganisms on the solubility of trivalent actinides have been studied by using Ce(III) or Eu(III) as alternatives. Precipitation of CePO $_{4}$ or EuPO $_{4}$ on the cell surface by SEM analysis. The chemical components of the solution were higher than those estimated by thermodynamic data. These results suggest that some organic materials secreted from microorganisms are associated with Ce and Eu.
