本報告書では、平成21年度(2009年4月1日2010年3月31日)の日本原子力研究開発機構・システム計算科学センターにおける研究開発活動について報告する。これらの研究開発は、高度計算科学技術開発室とシミュレーション技術開発室により執り行われた。主な研究開発内容は、グリッド技術に基づく安全な計算環境の開発,原子炉施設全体の耐震構造解析、原子炉材料及び核燃料の安全評価のための大規模物性計算、新規デバイス開発及び超伝導現象解明のための大規模量子シミュレーション、照射耐性遺伝子特定のためのデータベース構築及びたんぱく質の大規模分子シミュレーション等である。

This report overviews the activity of its research and development in Center for Computational Science & e-Systems (CCSE), JAEA, during the fiscal year 2009 (April 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010). The work has been accomplished by the Simulation Technology R&D Office and Computer Science R&D Office in CCSE. This report summarizes its achievement in the field of computer science in nuclear engineering, computational mechanics, computational materials science, and computational quantum bioinformatics. The activity includes a research of, secure computational infrastructure for the use in atomic energy research, which is based on the grid technology, a seismic response analysis for the structure of nuclear power plants, materials science, and quantum bioinformatics.
