Development of the ORIGEN2 library for LWR based on the latest nuclear data JENDL-4.0

New ORIGEN2 libraries (ORLIBJ40) for LWR were developed based on the latest Japanese nuclear data library JENDL-4.0. From post-irradiation examination analyses using ORLIBJ40, it was found that the new libraries improves the accuracy of spent nuclear fuel composition compared with conventional libraries, especially for MA nuclides, such as Np-237, Am and Cm isotopes, fission products sensitive to cross sections, such as Eu and Sm isotopes, and long-lived fission products like Se-79.
