国際核融合材料照射施設(IFMIF)を開発するため、主要装置の一つである大型の液体リチウム試験ループを大洗研究開発センターに建設した。講演では、高温大量の液体リチウム(300C, 2.5トン)が存在する本ループ内を真空に維持するための真空排気系の製作と初期運転結果について報告する。

EVEDA Li test loop, which is one of the major conponents for the development of the IFMIF, has been fabricated in Oarai Research Center. A detail of the fabrication and the first operation of the vacuum system, which is compatible with the high temperature and much liquid Li(300 C, 2.5 ton), will be presented.
