多重即発$$gamma$$線分析による環境中の微量元素分析

多重$$gamma$$線検出法は放射性核種分析において高分解能,高感度を実現する。この手法を即発$$gamma$$線分析に適用することにより、この分析法を高度化することができた。本解説では、即発$$gamma$$線分析及び多重$$gamma$$線検出法の原理と特徴について紹介したあと、それによる地球環境試料、特に都市河川底質試料及び海洋堆積物試料への適用性の検討と分析例について述べる。

The multiple $$gamma$$-ray detection method has been proved to be a high-resolution and high-sensitivity method in application to nuclide quantification. The neutron prompt $$gamma$$-ray analysis method is successfully extended by combining it with the $$gamma$$-ray detection method, which is called Multiple prompt $$gamma$$-ray analysis, MPGA. In this review we show the principle of this method and its characteristics. Several examples of its application to environmental samples, especially river sediments in the urban area and sea sediment samples are also described.
