大深度地下環境(深地層)を対象とした工学技術の適用事例

原子力機構は北海道幌延町に堆積軟岩を対象とした幌延深地層研究所を、岐阜県瑞浪市に結晶質岩を対象とした瑞浪超深地層研究所(Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory、以降MIUと称す)を建設しつつ、土木・資源工学で培われた既存の工学技術の有効性確認をおもに行ってきた。本報告は、MIUにおける工学技術の適用事例を紹介している。

JAEA has been conducting the construction of Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory (MIU) in crystalline rock at Mizunami, Gifu and Horonobe Underground Research Laboratory in sedimentary rock at Horonobe, Hokkaido. The study on applicability of existing engineering technologies has been carried out during the construction of both URLs. This report introduce a part of the results on the study for MIU.
