原子炉廃止措置研究開発センター「ふげん」の廃止措置の進捗に関して、重水回収では2012年度までに240mの輸送を行う計画としており、また、解体では2010年度末現在で約400トンの解体を実施してきている。解体工事に関しては、2010年度から復水器の解体に着手しており、4年かけて完了する計画としている。工事の初期段階に行う保温材の撤去にあたっては、保温材と外装板を分離して、保温材については減容処理を行っている。また、基礎コンクリートの解体では、管理区域内作業であることを考慮して乾式のダイヤモンドワイヤーソー工法を適用し、切断速度を確認するとともに、今後の使用にあたっては十分な粉じん対策が肝要であることを確認した。2011年度の工事は着工したばかりであるため、成果は次回会議で報告する。また、「ふげん」でクリアランスのために導入した物理的方法(ウェットブラスト法)により汚染を除去(低減)する手動式の除染装置について、実機解体撤去物等を用いて除染性能試験を行い、採取したデータにより除染性能を確認した。この結果、比較的短時間でクリアランスレベル以下となる除染能力を確認した。

On the progress of decommissioning of FUGEN, we are planning to transport the heavy water 240 m, and have dismantled the facilities about 400 ton. In dismantling, we have started dismantling of condenser, and will finish dismantling for four years. In insulation removal in early decommissioning stage, insulation separated from outer jacket is treated to volume reduction. In dismantling the base concrete, since it was the work in controlled are, we apply the method of diamond wire saw which is dry typed. We collected some cutting speed data, and it is important for us to take some steps against the much dust generated in cutting.
