Harjo, S.   ; Ito, Takayoshi*; Gong, W.; Suzuki, Hiroshi  ; Arima, Hiroshi*; Abe, Jun; Aizawa, Kazuya

Materials developments need in-situ observation under various environments. A dedicated neutron diffractometer for investigations of stresses and crystallographic structures within engineering components "TAKUMI" has been built at MLF of J-PARC. TAKUMI is a time-of-flight (TOF) neutron diffractometer having a pair of 90 degree scattering detector banks, and also multi hkl diffraction for a d-range between 0.05 nm to 0.27 nm at standard data acquisition operation. Moreover, an event data recording method is also adopted which make us easily to manipulate data as we like, even during measurement and/or after measurement. As demonstrations, we have performed a tensile deformation of JIS S45C steel at 873 K and a thermomechanical processing simulation of 2Mn-0.2C steel. Experimental details and results obtained will be introduced and discussed during presentation.
