複合核過程、共鳴とその統計的性質、核反応の統計模型

丸善「原子力・量子・核融合の事典」の第1分冊において、第1章「原子核物理学・核反応」の第3節「原子核反応」について次の項目を執筆する。第4項「複合核過程」原子力で重要な低エネルギー中性子原子核反応で主要な反応機構である複合核過程の概念について解説する。第5項「共鳴とその統計的性質」で、低エネルギー中性子核反応で生起する共鳴について、その性質と統計幅及び共鳴準位間隔の統計的性質について解説する。第6項「核反応の統計模型」で、複合核過程を記述する主要な理論であるHauser-Feshbach公式を説明し、その計算にどのような物理量が必要かを解説する。

Following parts in Section 3 "Nuclear Reaction" of Chapter 1 "Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Reaction" in "Encyclopedia of Atomic Energy, Quantum, and Nuclear Fusion for Beginners" of Maruzen are written. In Subsection 4 "Compound Nuclear Process", concepts of the compound process that is the main process of low energy neutrons, which is important for atomic energy, is described. In Subsection 5 "Resonance and Statistical Property", for low energy neutron resonances, their characteristics and statistical properties such as widths and resonance spacing are described. In Subsection 6 "Statistical model in Nuclear Reaction", Hauser-Feshbach formula, which is the main theory for the compound nuclear process, is described and the physical quantities needed for the calculations are shown.
