Measurement of thermal-neutron-capture cross section of Ni-62 using multiple prompt -ray spectrometer, STELLA

A cold-neutron beam was irradiated on a Ni-62 sample at a JRR-3 guided beam facility in JAEA. Prompt -rays from the neutron capture reaction were measured with a multiple -ray spectrometer, STELLA. From the analysis of the prompt -ray intensities, a thermal-neutron-capture cross section of Ni-62 has been derived.
