For the purpose of mechanism elucidation on target-wastage phenomena caused in steam generator of sodium-cooled fast reactor, impinging test was carried out under high temperature sodium-hydroxide/sodium monoxide environment. We quantitatively evaluated the effect of temperature and velocity on flow-accelerated corrosion rate, and derived new wastage correlation coupled with liquid droplet impingement erosion rate.
