Possible physics program with a large acceptance hyperon spectrometer at J-PARC

Imai, Kenichi

A large acceptance hyperon spectrometer (HypTPC) is going to be constructed for hadron physics at K1.8 beamline at J-PARC. It has TPC which can be used under high beam intensity. The major purpose of this spectrometer is the H-dibaryon search which recently has become a hot topics again. Because of its specific feature such as large acceptance and internal target structure, it is expected to be quite powerful for other experiments such as baryon spectroscopy and $$Lambda$$(1405). We will discuss such possible programs with HypTPC at J-PARC.
