JRR-3 (Japan Research Reactor-3), located at the Tokai site of JAEA (only 800 m away from MLF/J-PARC), is a light-water moderated and cooled pool type reactor, with a heavy-water tank reflector section for neutron beam irradiation and extraction. In this presentation we review utilization of JRR-3 including various neutron beam experiments and neutron irradiation (production of silicon semiconductors and radioisotopes, tests of fuels and materials, etc.), and activity of JRR-3 Users Office launched in April 2010.
