This report summarises the progresses of groundwater flow and transport modelling studies, called Task7 defined by Aspo Task Force on modelling of groundwater flow and transport of solutes. Task7 concerns the uncertainties of hydrogeological model developed by using Olikiluoto site characterization data set, and aims to provide a bridge between the information derived from site characterisation and performance assessment (PA). Task 7 has a specific object: how information from POSIVA Flow Log (PFL) can be used to maximum benefit, to reduce key uncertainties for modelling hydrogeological structure, and PA relevant groundwater flow behaviour. The overall strategy of Task 7 is to progress from the large scale, Olkiluoto island scale, to the much smaller scale that of the tunnel scale of the host rock. This task was very useful for advancing the ability of hydraulic data to improve and condition to key hydrostructural structure at each modelling scale, by using a series of the PFL data.
