バンド計算の結果から、ウランカルコゲナイドは磁場中又は磁気秩序した状態で反強磁性成分を伴うキャント磁性を示すことが期待されている。これを明らかにしてバンド計算の妥当性を確認する目的で、UTeSの中性子弾性散乱実験を行った結果について報告する。

We report the neutron scattering study on UTeS in order to reveal the existence of cant antiferromagnetic structure which has been predicted to be stable as the ground state in magnetically ordered phase or field induced order of uranium dicalcogenide.
