Development of hypTPC for H-dibaryon search experiment at J-PARC

We propose a search for the H-dibaryon in $$Lambda$$$$Lambda$$ production from ($$K^-$$,$$K^+$$) reaction off nuclei by using a high-intensity $$K^{-}$$ beam at J-PARC with 100 times better statistics than KEK-E224 and E552 experiments. The Kurama $$K^+$$ spectrometer will measure the produced $$K^+$$ tracks at forward angle. We plan to construct a large-acceptance hyperon spectrometer with a Time Projection Chamber (hypTPC) to detect $$Lambda$$$$Lambda$$ particles. It also enables to measure the weak-decay mode of the H-dibaryon, such as H-dibaryon decaying to $$Sigma^- p$$ and $$Lambda p pi^-$$. We will present the Monte-Carlo simulation results.
