防水塗料を介したコンクリート材へのトリチウムの浸透特性

コンクリート壁へのトリチウム汚染や除染に関する基礎データ蓄積のため、各種塗料のトリチウム浸透及び浸出挙動の把握を目的とした。トリチウム雰囲気に曝したエポキシ樹脂塗料のトリチウム浸透量及び浸出量を測定した結果、塗膜の厚みを0.2$$sim$$5.5mmの範囲で変えた場合、単位重量あたりのトリチウム浸透量は塗膜厚にかかわらず一定であった。また、0.5mm以下の塗膜のトリチウム捕捉量は1日以内で飽和となった。よって、エポキシ塗膜のトリチウム浸透と浸出は速く、均一に捕捉されることが明らかになった。エポキシ塗料単体からのトリチウム放出速度とエポキシ塗布状態のセメントペーストからの放出速度を比較すると、後者の方が遅く放出挙動に大きな違いが現れた。以上の結果から、塗料塗布状態のトリチウム移行については、セメントペースト-エポキシ塗料界面での移動抵抗が支配的となっていることが示唆された。

Tritium penetration behavior in various hydrophobic paints coated on concrete walls was investigated in order to obtain fundamental data of contamination and decontamination of tritium. The amount of tritium penetration and release in epoxy resin which exposed in tritium atmosphere were measured. The amount of tritium penetration per weight of the epoxy films was constant regardless of their thicknesses and that of the films less than 0.5 mm of the thicknesses was saturated within a day. It was found that tritium penetration rates through epoxy films were fast and tritium was uniformly trapped in the films. Tritium penetration rates through epoxy films were faster than those of cement pastes coated with epoxy films. It was considered that the rate-controlling step of tritium transfer process through cement pastes coated with epoxy film was diffusion in the interface between cement paste and epoxy film.
