The two horizontal pulse steering magnets are successfully commissioned and also used for one cycle trial operation. They are found to be work as designed. A change of the painting are between MLF and MR would really be necessary at 1 MW operation. The design principles as well as performance of the system is thus already been confirmed in well advanced. In order to meet multi user requirements in simultaneous operation, this might be the first example to introduce such a principle in recent high intensity accelerators.
