Present status of JAEA-AMS-TONO; Progress of multi nuclide AMS

Kokubu, Yoko   ; Ishimaru, Tsuneari ; Matsubara, Akihiro; Nishizawa, Akimitsu*; Miyake, Masayasu*; Owaki, Yoshio*; Nishio, Tomohiro*

The JAEA-AMS-TONO system has not only been continuously in operation for the routine measurement of $$^{14}$$C, but also has been made available for $$^{10}$$Be- and $$^{26}$$Al-AMSs in recent years. The $$^{14}$$C-AMS has applied to research into deep underground environments, and has also been used by researchers from universities and other institutes under the common-use facility program. Development of $$^{10}$$Be-AMS had been implemented for the past few years. After series of optimization of system/measurement conditions and test measurements, we completed the development last year and have started routine measurement from this year. Since this March, we have started development of $$^{26}$$Al-AMS. The system set up for $$^{26}$$Al-AMS and test measurement was carried out. Ratios of $$^{26}$$Al/$$^{27}$$Al in standard samples were almost corresponding to reference values. The development has so far done well and routine measurements of the $$^{26}$$Al-AMS will be started in near future.
