Summary of "Perspectives of Laser-Compton-Scattering (LCS) high-intensity $$gamma$$-ray beam in the next generation"

Fujiwara, Mamoru

We organize the symposium titled "Perspectives of Laser-Compton-Scattering (LCS) high-intensity $$gamma$$-ray beam in the next generation" in the Kochi JPS meeting held on 20-23 September 2013. In this symposium, several important talks are scheduled from both the physics and accelerator sides. One of key important ingredients to deliver a high-intensity LCS $$gamma$$ ray beam is the Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) developed by JAEA. I give a summary talk of this symposium and show some scientific perspectives realized in future.
