燃料デブリの組成・性状に関する知見と検討

原子力機構が行ったシビアアクシデント時の燃料及び炉心構成材料の挙動に関する研究やTMI-2デブリ分析試験の結果を中心にデブリの組成や性状について紹介する。特に、デブリの臨界管理に重要な炉心溶融進展過程、デブリにおける燃料と構造材の混合、燃焼度分布、空孔率、核分裂生成物の残存率、金属の酸化状態に焦点を絞って解説する。また、福島第一発電所のデブリの特徴について推察する。

The present paper introduces composition and morphology of debris based mainly on the results of studies on the behavior of fuel and core component materials and analysis of TMI-2 fuel debris which were conducted at JAEA. The introduction is focused on progress of core melt down, mixing of fuel and other core components, burnup distribution, porosity, fission product retention, and oxidation state of metals in debris which are important for criticality management. In addition, characteristics of debris in the Fukushima Daiichi NPP are estimated.
