Intensity frontier of accelerators for nuclear physics

High intensity accelerators for nuclear and hadronic physics are reviewed. The frontier of nuclear and hadronic physics with these accelerators is discussed with its perspectives. J-PARC is a world leading accelerator of this kind and has just started its operation. As a good example, J-PARC and its physics program is reviewed.
