Study of numerical method on leaked hydrogen gas in hallway model

Nishiki, Shinnosuke*; Terada, Atsuhiko  ; Inoue, Masahiro*; Tsukikawa, Hisayoshi*

To develop a numerical simulation method for leaked hydrogen gas behavior, an experimental study of leaking hydrogen gas in a Hallway model is mimicked by three different methods of numerical analysis and compared time histories of a hydrogen gas concentration at four sensor positions. The numerical results show good agreement with experimental results. In order to investigate the effect of outside fluctuation for Hallway model, the Hallway model with outside flow of 0.25 m/s is simulated by three different numerical analyses. Depending on the calculation method, some small effect is shown. However, a detailed investigation is for further study.
