原子力安全解析コードの国産化に向けての取り組みについて

Initiatives in Japan for the development of computer codes to be applied in the nuclear safety analyses and review

我が国は原子力の利用開発を始めてから半世紀以上の経験を持ち、世界的に見れば原子力発電の先進国と言える。しかしながら現在でも、原子力施設の安全評価解析は、米国を中心とする 海外で開発された計算コードに依存している状況にある。そして数年前から、一部の米国産コードについては最新バージョンの公開が滞る事例が出て来ている。このことに対する危機感から、国・産業界・研究機関が協力し、原子力の安全解析コードの 国産化を進めるための活動を開始している。本セミナーでは、この活動に至った経緯とその活動現状、そして日本原子力研究開発機構における国産コード開発の動向について報告する。

Japan has long history of the nuclear energy development more than half century. Japan is one of the most advanced country in the field of nuclear power utilization. However, even now, Japan mainly rely on the computer codes developed in foreign countries, especially in US. And from several years ago, few computer codes developed in US are not opened to outside of US. From this sense of crisis, an initiative to promote development of computer codes for the safety review in Japan has been started by the cooperation among the government of Japan, the industry and the research institutes. In this seminar, the speaker will report the status and the details of this initiative and the trend of the computer program development in Japan Atomic Energy Agency.
