私が日本に来てからの4年間で得られた経験について掲載する。2005年に日欧産業協力プログラムで初めて来日し、日立GEニュークリアエネルギーで8か月の研修を受けた。その後、フランス原子力庁(CEA)で博士号を取得し、2010年に日本原子力研究開発機構の職員となり再来日した。この合わせて4年間で得られた日本での経験を国際人の視点から簡単に紹介する。

In this short letter to appear in the Japanese Society of Maintenology's next issue, I present my living and working experience in Japan during the past 4 years. I came to live here for the first time in 2005, and stayed for one year as a fellow of the EU-JP Center for Industrial Cooperation Vulcanus Program, while carrying an 8 months internship at Hitachi GE Nuclear Energy. Then, after a 4 year break to obtain my PhD at the French Atomic Commission, I enrolled in JAEA as a permanent researcher in 2010.
