Luminescence properties of mononuclear europium(III) complex with tetradentate Schiff base ligands in solutions

Mononuclear Eu(III) complexes with tetradentate schiff base ligands (C $_{2}$ H $_{5}$ ) $_{3}$ NH[Eu(L) $_{2}$ ] (L:3,5Clsalen) exhibits strong red luminescence under ultraviolet light at 360 nm. The derivatives of this complex varies its luminescence in the solid state by the structural change of the ligand or counter cation. In this presentation, luminescence properties of mononuclear europium(III) complex with tetradentate Schiff base ligands and different counter cations such as X=(C $_{2}$ H $_{5}$ ) $_{3}$ NH $^{+}$ , (C $_{2}$ H $_{5}$ ) $_{4}$ N $^{+}$ in solutions were investigated.
