東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の格納容器内では、炉心への海水注入および炉心損傷による放射線量の増加により、格納容器および圧力容器鋼の腐食が加速されることが懸念されている。水の放射線分解が腐食に及ぼす影響と腐食抑制対策を検討するため、50$$^{circ}$$C、希釈人工海水を用いて$$gamma$$線照射下での腐食試験を行った。前回、ヒドラジン(N$$_{2}$$H$$_{4}$$)100mg/Lを添加し、N$$_{2}$$雰囲気での試験条件において、腐食減量が低下したことを報告した。今回、N$$_{2}$$雰囲気単独の効果を確認するため、N$$_{2}$$H$$_{4}$$を添加せずに腐食試験を行った。フラスコ内の気相をN$$_{2}$$雰囲気にすることで、希釈人工海水中の酸素および過酸化水素濃度は低下し、腐食減量も低下した。

In primary containment vessels (PCVs) of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (1F-NPS), it is considered that corrosion of PCV and reactor pressure vessels is accelerated by seawater injection into the reactor cores and an increase in radiation dose. To investigate effects of water radiolysis on corrosion and measures to suppress corrosion, corrosion tests were conducted in diluted seawater at 50 $$^{circ}$$C under $$gamma$$ rays irradiation. In the 2013 fall meeting, it has been reported that weight loss reduced in diluted seawater containing hydrazine (N$$_{2}$$H$$_{4}$$) 100 mg/L in N$$_{2}$$ atmosphere. To confirm a contribution of N$$_{2}$$ atmosphere, corrosion test was conducted in diluted seawater without N$$_{2}$$H$$_{4}$$ in N$$_{2}$$ atmosphere. When air was replaced with N$$_{2}$$ in the flask, weight loss, O$$_{2}$$ and H$$_{2}$$O$$_{2}$$ concentrations in diluted seawater decreased.
