Installation of complex type microstructure analysis device in the "Leading-Edge Research Promotion Found"

JMTRホットラボでは、最先端研究基盤事業において複合型微細組織解析装置を整備した。この装置は、透過電子顕微鏡(TEM), 集束イオンビーム加工装置(FIB)及びエックス線光電子分光装置(XPS)からなる。これらの装置は、ナノレベルでの観察、分析が可能であり、照射損傷メカニズムの解明につながるデータを提供することができる。

In the JMTR Hot Laboratory, complex type microstructure analysis device have been installed in the "Leading-edge Research Promotion Found". This device consist of the transmission electron microscopy (TEM), the focused ion beam (FIB) and the X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS). It is possible to supply data for investigation of mechanism of irradiation damage because these device are possible to observation and analysis of nano-level.
