Research program on fission product (FP) chemistry has been launched towards the improvement of evaluation method of source term and FP release and transport behaviors. The purpose is to construct a database that is composed of FP chemical forms and their fractions at each stage of the nuclear power plant. The FP chemical behavior is modeled based on the experimentally determined FP chemical forms. The constructed FP chemical model will be verified and validated through the analysis of integrated tests for FP release and transport.
