Nuclear Human Resource Development Center (NuHRDeC) of JAEA has conducted nuclear human resource development for more than 50 years since its establishment in 1958. At present, NuHRDeC conducts international Nuclear Human Resource Development "Instructor Training Program (ITP)", which is training scheme launched in 1996 under contract with MEXT in order to support Asian countries seeking peaceful use of nuclear energy. The purpose of ITP is to develop a self-sustainable training system in Asian countries, which disseminates the knowledge and technology on nuclear engineering in their countries. NuHRDeC has expanded the ITP considering change of needs after the Fukushima accident and development stages of these countries. As of FY2014, ITP is applied to eight Asian countries. Present paper summarizes the recent efforts of NuHRDeC and the encountered issues.
