Characterization of VUV waveform by frequency-resolved optical gating with plasma mirror

We demonstrate a new method for characterizing VUV waveform based on time-resolved reflection spectra using a plasma mirror formed by an intense femtosecond laser pulse. The VUV waveform is retrieved using the FROG algorithm.
