トカマクプラズマのイオン温度勾配(ITG)駆動乱流のシミュレーションにおいて、ITG乱流が非線形飽和に達した後で、ペレット入射を想定したポロイダル面で局在した密度および温度の変調を与え、プラズマの過渡的な応答を調べた。簡約化磁気流体力学(RMHD)コードを用いて同様な密度変調を与えた時に見られたようなプラズマの非局所的な応答は見られなかった。

We perform ion temperature gradient (ITG) driven turbulence simulation in a tokamak plasma with a transient source in a density equation and a transient sink in a ion temperature equation which are localized in the poloidal plane. The source and sink are given after the ITG turbulence saturates. Parameters used in the simulation are similar to those used in the reduced magnetohydrodynamic (RMHD) simulation where a non-local plasma response was observed after the density source was terminated.
