Current status of Utsusemi as data reduction software framework for neutron scattering in MLF

We report the current status of data analysis software "Utsusemi" at Materials and Life Science Facility (MLF), J-PARC. The core codes of analysis part are written in C++ on a software framework for data analysis utilized in MLF, named "Manyo Library". User interface for these codes is in Python to enable users easily to develop new codes using "Utsusemi" for their own purpose. The products of this work were successfully utilized in actual users analysis for chopper spectrometers, while we were proceeding with developments intensively for the analysis to use effectively the event-recording data outputted from DAQ-middleware produced by KEK. In these years, not only the inelastic instruments but also many of other instruments in MLF begin to introduce this new "Utsusemi" to achieve more flexible analysis using event-recording method. Now, "Utsusemi" has a role of one of software framework in MLF to analyze event-recording data.
