Plasma-mirror frequency-resolved optical gating for characterization of VUV pulses

We propose and demonstrate a method for characterizing VUV waveform based on time-resolved reflection spectra using a plasma mirror formed by an intense laser pulse. The VUV waveform is retrieved using the frequency-resolved optical gating algorithm.
