Iron-based superconductors FeSe$$_{0.5}$$Te$$_{0.5}$$ and FeSe have been studied by inelastic neutron scattering measurement. In contrast of FeSe, FeSe$$_{0.5}$$Te$$_{0.5}$$ exhibits temperature dependent incommensurability in magnetic spectrum with no clear structural transition. We find a jump in the incommensurability at about 70 K.
