The paper presents application of novel multi-frequency eddy currents algorithms to helical steam generator tube of FBR to improve defect detection even when sodium partially fills the volume of the defect. The task is accomplished using three dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) numerical simulations that can take into account full circumferential and partial outer tube defects located near a tube support plate.
