Inelastic neutron scattering study of $$beta$$-FeSe

Iron-based superconductor $$beta$$-FeSe has not been studied in the high energy region by inelastic neutron scattering measurement. We have studied it with the single crystals grown by chemical vapor transport method. As a result, spin-wave like dispersion, which can be fitted by two types of anisotropic exchange interactions, is observed up to 200 meV.
