トカマク型装置においてプラズマ平衡を安定制御するためには、プラズマ外部に置かれた磁気計測器の信号から正確にプラズマ境界を決定する必要がある。コーシー条件面(CCS)法は磁気計測器の信号からコーシー条件を持つ仮想面外部の磁束分布を計算し、プラズマ境界を再構築する数学的手法である。国際熱核融合実験炉(ITER)にCCS法を適用し、磁気計測器ノイズがある条件下でも精度よくプラズマ境界を再構築できることがわかった。ITERおけるCCS法を用いたプラズマ境界再構築精度を報告する。

It is necessary to precisely determine the plasma separatrix from the magnetic measurement signals located outside the plasma in order to stably control the plasma equilibrium in tokamak devices. The Cauchy condition surface (CCS) method is a numerical approach for calculating the spatial distribution of the magnetic flux outside a hypothetical surface and reconstructing the plasma separatrix from the magnetic measurement signals located outside the plasma. The CCS method has been applied to ITER and it was known that the accurate plasma separatrix can be reconstructed even with the magnetic measurement noise. The accuracy of ITER plasma separatrix by using CCS method is reported.
