学校教科書の調査・提言に係る活動について

Review and suggestion activities for textbooks of school education

日本原子力学会により、1995年から約20年間にわたり、学校教育に用いられる教科書に対してエネルギー・原子力・放射線に係る記載内容の調査が行われてきた。2014年度の活動にあたっては原子力・放射線部会に協力要請があり、技術士参加の下で、教科書に関する調査を実施した。今回は、事故後4年が経過した福島第一原子力発電所の事故に関連する記載に焦点を当てた調査を実施した。その結果、客観性を持った表現が必要であること、誤解を与えるような表現があること等を指摘している。

Atomic Energy Society of Japan (AESJ) has researched descriptions regarding energy, nuclear power and radiation in textbooks of school education for about 20 years, since 1995. In the activity on 2014 Japanese Fiscal Year(JFY), the research about textbooks to Nuclear and Radiation Group of IPEJ in attendance with professional engineers was requested and implemented. The research focused on the descriptions about the accident of Fukushima-Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant that was passed 4 years, was implemented. As the result, AESJ pointed out that some descriptions should be revised objectively, and there were some misleading descriptions, etc.
